Sacha speaks at Indiana Dunes Birding Festival
Sacha spoke at the during the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival, where she spoke about her efforts in flying a paramotor from Russia to the UK and how it helped bring to light the decline in Bewick Swans and map their migration. Her upcoming endeavors will take her across the globe to raise awareness to declining vulture populations as she works to help change public perceptions that people often have of these wonderful scavengers.
Sacha then visited Humane Indiana Wildlife to learn about their efforts to help native wildlife and to change public perception of misunderstood species here in Northwest Indiana. She even had the opportunity to meet their very own Ozzie, Turkey Vulture, and hear why he remains an ambassador for his species at their facility. Sacha’s powerful storytelling and bold conservation message left a lasting impact.
