Glen Falloch: After the Floods

Falcon Frost is a Land Manager and Deerstalker who manages the surrounding hills - crucially whilst keeping carbon in mind. Following the floods in august 2019 Falcon decided to up the focus on carbon consideration in his land management techniques - focusing heavily on peat restoration. Particularly through working with construction workers who bring in diggers to reprofile the peat hags - slowing the runoff of water, preventing further erosion, and ultimately storing more carbon. The peat restoration work Falcon has undertaken builds resilience within the land he manages to the future impacts of climate change and severe weather events.
